The owner, Liebherr, is very hands off himself, hardly involved. He&#039;s appointed Cortese to take care of everything from the initial takeover to the everyday running of the club on and off the field. At the moment Cortese looks to be hands-on but in a positive rather than interfering way. He&#039;s used his business knowledge to tidy up the way the club runs and he takes advice from football people on football decisions.

It&#039;s still early days though, it&#039;ll be interesting to see how it all pans out and what happens when the new board are put under some pressure.]]></description>

Sad story about Southampton, probably one of the worst hit in the last ten years. Nice to see someone has bailed them out though but they&#039;ve lost a lot of talent.
