Geoff, I agree what your comments about Germany possibly having Europe's most exciting league. I can't think of another championship that has not only such a high standard of football, but also a range of teams capable of challenging for the title.

I think Hoffenheim will definitely be up there this season, they have a really good group of players. Last year they went into the winter break top of the league. One of the main reasons they fell away was losing their two main strikers, Chinedu Obasi and Vedad Ibisevic to injury. If those two can stay fit for the majority of the season, and the squad avoids the complacency that hit them last term, they will definitely be up there pushing the top 3 or 4 I think.

Hoffenheim's coach, Ralf Rangnick, is heavily influenced in his methods by Arsene Wenger. That means Hoffenheim are always looking to play attacking football at pace. They've made a good signing in Josip Simunic from Hertha Berlin who's a solid defender. They also have high hopes for a couple of young South Americans they've signed (Franco Zuculini from Racing Club de Avellaneda and Maicosuel from Botafogo). Maybe the guys covering South America can shed some light on them?

It's hard to say who will be top scorer this season. Dzeko and Grafite will be up there again, judging by their performance against Stuttgart on Friday. If I had to stick my neck out I'd say Ibisevic. He managed 18 (10 behind Grafite) from only half a season last year. For dark horses, I'd go for Marcelo Moreno (Werder Bremen) or Lucas Barrios (Dortmund), who brought impressive records with them from Ukraine and Chile respectively.

As far as I know ESPN are showing it this year.

Good to see some focus on the German league - a league I wish I could cover myself. Who have taken the UK rights to the Bundesliga this year in light of Setanta losing out?

Nice to see teams holding onto players such as Dzeko. Who do you think will be top goalscorer in the league this season?

Also do you think Hoffenhiem can go better this year or was the first half of last season a one off for them?
